Modern Monk's Pour Over is a ritual of patience — water passed slowly over the grounds to draw out bright, clean flavor without rushing the bean. The result is a crisp, tea-like cup with floral and citrus notes and a light, clean finish.

Pre-brew

Rinse filter & carafe. Discard rinse water.

Bloom

Agitate dry grounds. Saturate with 60 g water for 1 min.

1:30 MIN

First Pour

Spiral pour water until it reaches 125 g. Maintain 2" height.

2:00 MIN

Last Pour

Slowly pour remaining water until 200 g. Center pour, minimal motion.

2:30 - 3:00 MIN

Agitation

Swirl carafe 3–7 times after complete drain to integrate volatile notes.
